Relationship with God is my Batteries and Quiet Time is Recharging Time…
Be careful, because my business can make me forget God. Actually I don’t forget God, but I become lazy and heartless to do the quiet time. Yesterday, I am very busy. In the morning I went to the church service. After church service I was having lunch with my family. After that we went home (about 3 p.m. ). After we went home we take a rest. I played Xbox game. My heart told me that I must have my quiet time but I neglect it. Then at 6.p.m we went to a meeting. We went home at 10.30 p.m. and we are very tired. I read the bible but I can’t write the insight any more.
I am so sad because I don’t give the best for God in my time with him. I delayed my quiet time. My quiet time is a time for me to connect with him. My quiet time is a time to get strength from Him for the whole day.
When my heart not filled with God, then I become empty. Although I fill my day with so many things to do, my heart is empty. I miss God so much. I must fill my heart with God again and become full. Relationship with God is my batteries and quiet time is a time to recharge the batteries. I need it to fire up my life for doing the best all day.
She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness
