No Sugar No Ants…

No Sugar No Ants…

God doesn’t punish someone without reasons. There always have reasons to do an action to someone. Today I angry with my employee because she was disobey me. I told her not to rinse the laundry but she rinsed the laundry even I have told her not to do that.

In the bible, book of Amos, God was angry with the Israelites and wanted to punish them. There are many reasons that make God punish them. The very reason was their disobedience to God.

When my employee makes something wrong, I just sad and gives her advice or sometime teaches her to do the right way. But when she disobeyed me, I become angry. Disobey is a very serious matter in human being. Bless from God only for obedience people.

Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it?
Amos 3:6 (KJV)

The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
Amos 3:8 (KJV)

Let’s Deal with God

Let’s Deal with God…

God want me to have a great life. He also want his people to have a great life. But before that, he want to make deal with them. He give me and his people a great life and in return He want me and his people to do what he want us to do.

What he want me to do? - He want me to be holy. He want me to have no “stranger” in my heart. Stranger means something that can steal my relationship with God. What can steal my relationship with God? - My work, my family, my money, my hobby, etc can steal my relationship with god. How they can steal my relationship with God? - Everything that I do the most and put to the first of my priority can steal my relationship with God.

Like the story in the bible. God said via Joel that he wanted to restore the condition of the Israel and Judah as long as they wanted to do what God want them to do. God want them to be holy and pure.

So, if I want God restore my life, I need to be holy and pure in my heart and my life. God want me to put Him as the first priority in my life. God will restore me immediately.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
Joel 2:25 (KJV)

The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
Joel 3:16 (KJV)
