The Result is Belonging to God..

The Result is Belonging to God..

I have met many people and I wanted their life changed. But, when they didn’t change, I become upset and angry.

Jonah also faced the same case but the different was I want they change but Jonah want they being punished. Both of us expect the result and when the result is not the same as we want, we became angry.

But, God said to Jonah that he didn’t plant and he not deserved to harvest. He just a worker that pass the message to the Nineveh. Whether they want to repent or not is not Jonah’s problem.

I counsel many people. I counsel with love and with heart. But, the people don’t change, and then it is not my problem anymore. It is God’s problem. So, I don’t need to be angry.

Then said the Lord, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night: And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle

Touch the heart of God…

Touch the heart of God…

Few days ago I invited one of my laundry customers to come to the Sunday church service. When she came to my store, I weighted her clothes, counted her clothes, write her data on the bill, her name, address and phone number. When she mentioned her name it seemed that she is a Batakness (Batak is one of the tribe in Indonesia).  Most of them are Christians. So, I tried to invite her (although I doubt she would come to the Sunday church service). She was doubt but I convinced her to come. Then at Sunday, she came to the church service. After that she told my wife that although she is a Christian, she never ever went to the church for the last 6 months. She was very touched and cried. She was very thankful to us and she wanted to join the bible study with my wife.

I am very thankful to God. I don’t know her before what will happen. I just to be brave to open my mouth to invited her and the result she wants to learn the bible with my wife. I believe that she has touch God’s heart.

Like the story of Jonah. The bible said that Jonah refused to go to the Nineveh. He run away. God pushed him to go to the Nineveh and the result was very good. The people in Nineveh were repented and God have mercy upon them.

So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. Jonah 3:5 (KJV)

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not. Jonah 3:10 (KJV)
