Relationship with God is my Batteries...

Relationship with God is my Batteries and Quiet Time is Recharging Time
August 23, 2010

Be careful, because my business can make me forget God. Actually I don’t forget God, but I become lazy and heartless to do the quiet time. Yesterday, I am very busy. In the morning I went to the church service. After church service I was having lunch with my family. After that we went home (about 3 p.m.). After we went home we take a rest. I played Xbox game. My heart told me that I must have my quiet time but I neglect it. Then at 6.p.m we went to a meeting. We went home at 10.30 p.m. and we are very tired. I read the bible but I can’t write the insight any more.

I am so sad because I don’t give the best for God in my time with him. I delayed my quiet time. My quiet time is a time for me to connect with him. My quiet time is a time to get strength from Him for the whole day.

When my heart not filled with God, then I become empty. Although I fill my day with so many things to do, my heart is empty. I miss God so much. I must fill my heart with God again and become full. Relationship with God is my batteries and quiet time is a time to recharge the batteries. I need it to fire up my life for doing the best all day.

She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness
